Question #2: Breast feeding question: What is the most you have ever pumped from one side?
The most I've ever pumped from one side is 2oz and that is first thing in the morning. I have pretty much strictly breastfed my daughter from birth. She got formula when she was a newborn because she had jaundice, but otherwise she's been thriving on my milk. I'm not back at work and having to pump, but I'm just not pumping enough during the day to keep her while she's at daycare. She drinks about 12 oz while I'm away which means I need to be pumping that much and I'm not. Should I just keep pumping and start supplementing with formula and continue to breastfeed at night as well. I started taking fenugreek on Friday, but right now I only have enough stored milk to get her through tomorrow. I've only pumped 2oz today so far.
If you pump at work, so you normally pump both every few hours or do you pump one at a time. I only have to feed my daughter from one breast at a time so I switch back and forth with every feeding. So I'm only feeding from one breast every 6 hours if that makes sense.
Whoops, posted in wrong section...sorry. It automatically chose pregnancy and I hit submit too fast before changing it.

Question #3: How many bottles do i need when i start pumping milk?
I am due in April and im trying to make sure that i have everything. I had a really hard time breast feeding my first but im going to give it a second try this time around. I am trying to figure out how many bottles i need when i start pumping. I plan to go back to work at 6 weeks and i want to be ready. I have flat nipples which makes it really hard to breast feed but im going to give it another whirl. if not i will just pump so that the baby can still get the healthy milk.
Question #4: Is a second baby cheaper than the first?
We have an 8 month old and my husband and I are talking about possibly having a second child 4 or 5 years from now. We plan on keeping his play pen, swing, highchair, and the other big things. I plan on nursing/pumping again with our second child for as long as I can and I already have a hospital grade breast pump. My question is for the mothers out there that have had 2 or more kids. Is it any cheaper the second time around since we already have the bigger items?
Question #5: what do you do if you bottle feed breast milk and you are out WITH baby for day?
My baby won't take the breast because she got used to the bottle while I am at school t/th. I wasn't expecting this to happen and I'm sad. :( What if we go out for the day? I don't want to take a cooler of breast milk if we are gone for hours. We are going to be going on vacation, I don't want to be trying to find places to pump if we are out for the day. What do we do!? Sigh... if only she would take both.
Question #6: baby prefers bottle to breast?
On M, T, and TH's, I am gone for 3 feedings so I pump bottles for my daughter. She is 3 1/2 months old. However now whenever I am home and trying to feed her on the breast, she pulls of every 2 seconds. It is so frustrating! She doesn't cry, she just goes on and off. I feel like she isn't getting enough milk in the little time she breast feeds but then again, wouldn't she cry if she were hungry? She won't pull off with a bottle but I don't want to stop breast feeding either. Our breast feeding sessions have been very unsuccessful and I think it is because of the bottle. Is this common? I have heard of babies turning to the bottle rather then the breast. Any experiences with this or comments?
Question #7: Do I need to buy a breast pump?
My hubby says I have to breast feed and I'm not allowed to use formula.
I don't really want to but I know it's best for the baby so I will.
But if I need to feed every three hours then I won't be able to leave the house unless I use a breast pump because I don't want to feed in public.
What should I do?
I don't drive so I can't do it in the car!!

Question #8: [[[ Does it hurt to express/pump breast milk ]]]?
Since I've decided to express my milk manually on occasions, I was just wondering does it hurt?
Question #9: Pumping and breastfeeding?
I just recently bought a breast pump so I can start expressing milk so the father can have a more active role in feeding our baby. We don't plan on starting this until at least 6 weeks but I'm trying to build up a supply of milk.
When is the best time to pump? I'm always afraid that if I pump and my baby needs to feed right after he won't have enough.
How long should I pump for?

Question #10: How long does marijuana stay in breast milk?
I am considering using pot as a bronchial dilator as I have bad reactions to bronchial dilating medications and have bad bronchitis, but I am a breast feeding mom and do not wish to expose my child to anything that could potentially hurt him if I can avoid it (which I can in this case). I plan on arranging child care so that I am not smoking in front of my kids, near my kids, or trying to take care of them while I am under the influence. I am not a "pothead." Please do not pass your judgment on me, only answer if you know the answer. I need to know how long I will need to pump and dump before my milk would be clean again. I don't need your guess or your opinion. Please back up your answer with a reputable website b/c it is important that I have an accurate answer so that I know my child is safe.
I don't EXPECT you to do anything, I simply asked a question and if you so chose to answer, asked you to answer with information that I could check the accuracy of. Some people can readily provide that information b/c it is a subject that they are knowledgeable on.
I am not currently using and have not smoked since I was a teen, long before I had children. I do not wish to expose my children to any of the harmful effects and am trying to gauge the risk/benefit BEFORE I make my choice.
I do experience tachycardia which leads me to a panic attacks and dizziness that lasts over an hour which has caused me to fall. I also get stomach pain very badly. I am looking into my options to decide what I think is the best course of action. I do plan on talking to my dr and to my son's pedi, but would like some information going in to discuss so that all of my questions can be answered.
Oh, and by the way, if I just wanted to smoke pot, I'd just switch to formula and smoke whenever I wanted.
